Our Story

35 Years in the Field.

I started Comprehensive Repair back in 1996 after a four year stint with Timesavers as a traveling (45 weeks a year) service technician.

My firstborn was a year old and I realized so much traveling was not good for the family.

At that time, I was somewhat burned out and never expected to stay in this field. Companies started calling me at home so I slowly got back into it.

Prior to this, I was in the electronics field designing and repairing circuit boards for a high tech company — a lot of light-theory, physics, electronics, and mechanical precisely-moving parts.

Prior to that, I was a house painter — my father owned a painting company.

As a kid, I remember taking most anything apart, just out of curiosity, and took a lot of interest in electric train sets, minibikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and cars.

With my experience in painting, I understand how finishes and wood work together.

With the experience in electronics, I excel in electrical troubleshooting.

And with the experience at Timesavers, I've sanded about every product out there from woods, metals, fiberglass, rubber, and much more.

It's been a fun ride and I hope to continue this as long as possible.

If you're one of my existing customers, I thank you for supporting me over the years.
